Lowlands 2008

I was really dissapointed when I found out the tickets I ordered for Lowlands weren't available after all. It was going to be my first time attending this awesome festival and a lot of my tweeps were also going.

But then... Werner came to the rescue. Out of the kindness of his heart he send me a ticket!! I couldn't believe it!

I met Werner the night before The Next Web Conference at Mulligan's bar in Amsterdam. We stayed in touch after the conference and Werner kept us posted on when he would be in Holland. We had some great evenings with this guy on the Mobypictureboat. He even organised a boattrip for us. Twittercruise 2.0.

I came to know Werner as a gentle, smart, funloving and generous guy. He's amazing and there aren't any words to describe my gratitude. All I can say is Werner, thank you, you are the best!



He even send me this very cool t-shirt to wear during the festival. DRM - Don't restrict me!

So now my ticket and my outfit were taking care of I needed housing. Although there probably won't be a lot of sleeping going on, it's always nice to have a place where you can retreat to. So Bas van de Haterd offered me a tent! Thank you Bas! I'm all set to go!!!!
